Please let me share these fun Bubblegum facts I came across Howard’s bubblegum website:
-In the USA, 1.3 billion chunks of Bubble Gum are sold each year. That is 3.6 million chunks a day and 10 billion bubbles a year.
-You can chew gum to unplug your ears when you fly on an airplane.
-Topps still holds the world record for having made the largest single piece of bubble gum. The gum was equal to 10,000 normal-sized pieces of Bazooka Bubblegum. Topps presented the gum to baseball player Willie Mays in 1974. Mays then cut it into small chunks and gave it to children in nearby hospitals.
-Gary Duschl has the longest gum wrapper chain. It is 30,774 feet long. That is longer than Mount Everest is high.
There you go. Remember them, and amaze your friends next time you enjoy Bazooka Bubblegum together!
Canadian superheroes SuperChris & DuperBen don’t need an introduction, and they explain perfectly well why they made this Bazooka Dance video:
“After 3 years of growing our hair out, we realized it was perfect for this song.”
It was only a matter of time before this one showed up: the Runescape version of the Bazooke Bubblegum dance. Recorded completely in this popular online game by RandBproductions.
So we’ve had already Maplestory and now Runescape, which game is next?
Superfast, MTV style video editing, balloons and a pair of way to cool sunglasses: that’s the recipe of this great Bazooka Dance video from Izzy Dempsy and Alicia Hoyt. And it works, it looks awesome!
We wish you all a very merry Christmas today! And now, sit back to enjoy this holiday video postcard from Tha Heights:
When the Atramontin brothers make a movie, they think of everything to get the right atmosphere. And it’s that time of the year again, so they created a splendid Christmas setting, complete with a moving Santa and a giant Christmas tree. Perfect to get in the right mood!
Jessibear and her friends created a ‘Jamaican’ version of the Bazooka Dance, by combining the moves of Tha Heights with the ‘Dutty Wine’ - a dance craze which involves moving your legs like a butterfly. Bonus points for originality!
Kristee and Julia are singing the Bazooka Bubblegum song in this video, and they’re doing it ‘gangsta style’. Altough they look quit friendly and cute to me with those funny glasses! But of course, the hoodies make for the gangsta touch
Bazooka is clearly conquering Europe as well: here’s a Bazooka Dance video from two Belgian girls, Janita and Rowan. And as always, we loove the bloopers at the end! Keep ‘em coming!
